Rev. Fr. Paul Schmidt, RIP

With deep sadness we inform you of the death of Father Paul Schmidt, retired priest of the Diocese of Oakland.  Father Schmidt entered into eternal life on Friday, July 17, 2026.

Fr. Schmidt had served as Administrator at St. Margaret Mary from 1999-2004.   He was a regular visitor to the Parish, attending the Holy Hour of Adoration for priests every month.  His last visit to the Parish was this past May.  

Please keep Father Paul and his family in your prayers.  

Funeral arrangements are pending and will be sent out as they become available.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord.  And let perpetual light shine upon him.  May his soul and the souls of all the Faithful Departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.  Amen.
